Frequently asked questions

We are currently located on the North Side of Evansville, just west of the Vanderburgh County 4-H fairgrounds.

2. Do you accept my insurance?

In order to provide individualized 1-on-1 physical therapy without insurance based restrictions we are considered out-of-network with insurance providers. This allows you quicker access to services without waiting on insurance approvals, greater control over treatment sessions, and often costs can be less over your course of care.

3. Will my insurance reimburse me?

It is best for you to contact your insurance company for a definitive answer, but for most non-Medicare insurance companies you can submit a self claim. Movemetrics will provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance which will go towards your out-of-network deductible and may be eligible for reimbursement based on your specific insurance plan.

4. How much are your services?

5. How Do I schedule an appointment?

To schedule an appointment please call 812-228-9932 or email movemetricspt@gmail.com

6. What should I expect for my first appointment?

On your first visit you should expect about a 1 hour comprehensive and detailed examination which includes gathering more information about medical history/symptoms, discussion of your goals, a detailed musculoskeletal and functional movement exam, and an explanation of findings and treatment plan. An initiation of treatment will occur during the first session, which often involves hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, or other interventions based on the assessment findings. Following your session you will be given a corrective program to reinforce improvements made during sessions and improve overall health and well being.

7. What do I need to bring with me for my first appointment?

For your first appointment please be sure to complete intake questionnaire (that was emailed to you after scheduling your first appointment) at least 24 hours before your appointment time. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement.

8. Do I need a referral for your services?

No you do not! In Indiana you have direct access to physical therapy services without a referral for 42 calendar days. After 42 calendar days if we have not resolved your concerns, we will request a referral to comply with the Indiana State Practice Act.

9. Do you accept HSA or FSA payments for services?

Yes! Physical Therapy is eligible for payment from HSA or FSA accounts. Performance training is not eligible for payment from HSA or FSA accounts.
